Andrews & Kurth Adds Litigation Group to The Woodlands Office
April 22, 2003THE WOODLANDS, Texas -- Andrews & Kurth announced today that Craig L. Stahl, together with two associates, Jeffrey T. Kuehnle and Emmie M. West, have joined the firm in the litigation section of The Woodlands office. “Craig brings a great deal of Texas and national litigation experience to our firm,” stated Howard Ayers, managing partner of the firm. “The group’s background in the energy industry will complement our existing energy practice.”
Prior to joining Andrews and Kurth, Mr. Stahl was a shareholder, and Mr. Kuehnle and Ms. West were associates, with Jenkens & Gilchrist in their Houston office. Although Mr. Stahl’s practice focuses on complex commercial litigation with an emphasis on oil and gas, he also has handled trial and appellate matters in a wide variety of fields involving business torts and contractual disputes. He has had primary responsibility for numerous multi-million dollar lawsuits and appeals filed in state and federal courts in Texas and throughout the nation. “Craig is an excellent addition to our Woodlands office,” said Jeff Harder, managing partner of the firm’s Woodlands office. “The addition of this group, with their ability and experience, bolsters the office and confirms our continuing commitment to service the companies based in this area.”
