Private Equity Lawyer David Denechaud Joins Andrews Kurth in Houston

HOUSTON – Andrews Kurth is pleased to announce that David Denechaud has joined the firm as a Partner in the Corporate/Securities practice.
Previously a partner in the New York office of Dechert LLP, Denechaud has a broad transactional practice involving the representation of private and public companies in financial and strategic acquisitions and dispositions, financings, contests for corporate control, and securities issues.

Denechaud’s clients have included private equity sponsors and related portfolio companies, mezzanine lenders, and operating companies at various levels of development—from companies at the venture stage to mature public companies. He has extensive experience with leveraged and management buy-outs, recapitalizations, and public and private securities offerings and financing transactions. He also advises private and public companies on general corporate matters and regulatory compliance.

Denechaud received his J.D. in 1998 from Georgetown University Law Center and his B.A. in 1994 from the University of Virginia.
