Jason's practice involves all forms of litigation, including representation of domestic and foreign businesses, financial institutions, and insurance companies in courts and non-judicial forums. His practice includes litigation involving contract disputes, toxic tort claims, fraud and business tort claims, real estate, insurance, and consumer protection statutes.
Jason brings substantial trial experience to the clients of Andrews Kurth LLP. He has personally taken over twenty trials to verdict, including eleven before a jury.

Captain, US Army (1999-2007); certified, sworn and admitted to practice before all military courts-martial.
In March 2003, Jason was called upon to deploy with the US Army as part of Operation Iraqi Freedom. He served in Sadr City/Baghdad from April 2003 to March 2004 as the International Law Officer for the Civil Affairs battalion charged with rebuilding the infrastructure, courts and government of Iraq. His focus included the establishment and training of district councils, the assessment and repair of the judicial system, and training Iraqi security forces in human rights and international law.
