Hal is involved in many aspects of the energy industry.  He advises clients on a wide range of energy transactions, including transactions involving the sale and acquisition of energy industry assets and energy industry companies, including the purchase and sale of oil and gas properties, gas gathering systems, fractionators, processing plants, and other midstream assets, oil refineries, petrochemical facilities, power plants, natural gas and crude oil pipelines, and underground gas storage facilities.  Hal also works with clients on issues related to construction projects in the energy industry, including engineering, procuring, and constructing petrochemical plants, natural gas pipelines, and underground gas storage facilities, power plants, offshore oil and gas production platforms, and other energy industry facilities. He also helps clients form joint venture companies to engage in the foregoing activities.  Prior to becoming an attorney, Hal worked as a petroleum engineer in Houston.
