Cheryl is a partner in the firm’s business transactions section and focuses her practice on oil and gas transactions.  She has extensive experience in representing clients in the purchase and sale of oil and gas properties, in negotiating joint venture, exploration and participation agreements involving oil and gas exploration and development, and representing borrowers in oil and gas reserves based lending transactions.  Her practice also includes negotiation and drafting of other contracts relating to oil and gas exploration, production and marketing.

Representative Experience

  • Represented buyer in 2007 acquisition of oil and gas assets for $780 million and in connection with oil and gas aspects of related financing;
  • Represented buyer in 2007 acquisition of stock of oil and gas company for $877 million;
  • Represented buyer in 2006 acquisition of oil and gas properties for $1.3 billion.
