Richard represents underwriters and issuers in a broad array of capital markets transactions, including public offerings, private placements, PIPE and 144 A transactions, with a focus on the energy industry. Rich also acts as outside general counsel to a number of publicly and privately held companies, in industries including small business services, pharmaceutical products, nanotechnologies and other emerging market technologies. Rich has also advised international financial institutions and developing countries on various aspects of infrastructure development, including environmental remediation projects that create carbon credits under the Kyoto Protocols.
